A Frogger-style game where you cross a busy road as a chicken. The name comes from the bad joke — What’s a henway? About four pounds. Written in C++ for Windows as a demo for Beginning Game Programming, covering sprite movement, collision, and the kind of game logic a reader could follow in one chapter.

Download it (a standalone Windows executable from 2004, so no installer — 32-bit, and it may well still run).
